COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

RELAY FOR LIFE Kick off Pancake, Sausage & Egg Breakfast on Saturday, April 29th, from 8:30– 11am at Trinity Lutheran Church in North Branch (38460 Lincoln Trail, NB) Cost: Free-will offering. We invite everyone to join us at the breakfast and at the event which will be on Sat, Sept 30th, 2017

April Bread Day is Fri., Apr. 14, 3:30 p.m. , at the Amador Town Office (old fire barn.) For a small donation come pick up a few loaves.

Volunteer Opportunity at Incarnation Lutheran Church, 4880 Hodgson Rd., Shoreview: Pastor Brian and Lana Bergin have invited anyone interested to help with the "All Hands on Hope, Feed My Starving Children MobilePack" May 1st-4th. This will be Incarnation's 10th event with the goal of packing 750,000 meals, feeding 2,054 kids for one year. Pastor Brian plans on pack-ing Thursday evening, May 4th. Go to incarnationmn.org to make reservations to help pack. Also needed are donations to help raise the $165,000 needed to purchase the food for packing. A person typically packs $50 worth of food in one session. Make checks payable to Incarnation Lutheran Church with "FMSC MP" in the memo line or make an online contribution by going to incarnationmn.org.

Christian Women’s Connection Luncheon

Women are invited to River Valley Christian Women’s Connection "Wings of Life" Luncheon. It will be held at 11:30 AM Monday, April 17, at Camp Wapogasset, 738 Hickory Point Lane, Amery, WI 54001. "Fast Facts About Hummingbirds" given by Mary Griesbach will the Spe-cial Feature. Music is by Tamara Rapp and keynote speaker Brenda Hansen’s title is "A Fractured Fairy Tale".

Reservations and cancellations are needed. Please call Diane, 651-808-8579 or Shirley, 715-755-2656 to make your reservation no later than Monday noon April 10. First timers are welcome and expected. You are encouraged to invite a friend. The cost is $12 inclusive for the program with luncheon. Pay at the door.
