Greetings from Luther Point, August 2017 "Forming Faith, Pointing to Christ!"

Dear Church Friends and Families; Our summer is going strong with an awesome summer staff, dedicated to leading our campers to grow in Christ’s love. On Sunday, August 6, we will once again celebrate another year of Forming Faith and Pointing to Christ with our annual fundraising event. For this event to be a success, we are asking for support from your congre-gation in one of the following ways:

1. Donations of items valued at more than $100 to be included in the live auction. Examples include quilts, wooden crafts, art work, vacation cabin use, tickets to sporting events among others.

2. Theme baskets for the silent auction. Baskets valued at $25-$50 have been the most popular. Food themes sell well (breakfast basket, Italian basket, etc.)

3. Donations of items valued at less than $100 for the craft and store sale. Examples include doll clothes, tote bags, rugs, large block quilts (queen size sell for $75 and twin for $60 in our store.

Donated items can be delivered by Jim Mielke to camp. Included is a label to be included with the items donated. (see below) Items received by August 1 will be listed in the Auction booklet available at the event
